The service
Socra is an AI-powered learning application. It offers gamified courses, AI tutoring and grading, and tools for creating your own learning content. The service is provided online.
Accounts
You need an account to use the learning features. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). If you are a minor, you may use Socra only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
AI credits
AI features consume in-app credits. Credits cannot be purchased — they are earned by playing: periodic free refills, treasure chests, the AI-voucher item and referral rewards.
Your own API key
You may configure your own AI API key (BYOK) in Settings. Your AI calls then go directly through the provider you choose, at your cost under that provider's terms. Your key is stored encrypted and used only to make AI calls on your behalf.
Acceptable use
Do not use Socra to break the law, to generate or distribute harmful or infringing content, to abuse the AI features beyond their intended educational purpose, or to disrupt the service and other learners. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
Intellectual property
You keep the rights to the content you create (courses, notes, answers). By publishing a course to the community marketplace you grant other users a license to learn from it inside Socra. You may not copy the app's own content, brand or software without permission.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes are announced in the app. You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that abuse the service, with notice whenever practicable.
