Data we collect
We store your account data (email, display name, preferences), your learning activity (progress, answers, review schedule, streaks and game rewards), and the courses and materials you create or upload.
How we use your data
Your data is used to run the service: keeping your progress, personalizing lessons and reviews, powering game features, and sending transactional emails (verification, password reset). Optional update emails are opt-in only.
AI processing
AI features send the text needed for the task (for example your answer, the question, or a snapshot's recognized text) to third-party AI providers configured for the app. This content is processed to generate grading, tutoring and explanations, and is not used to build your profile for advertising.
Your own API key
If you configure your own AI API key in Settings, it is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and used server-side only to call the AI provider you specified. It is never shown to other users or used for any other purpose.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the processors needed to run the service (hosting, database, email and AI providers) and when required by law. Data is kept while your account is active and is deleted or anonymized after account deletion, except data we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.
Your rights
You can access, correct or export your data, and delete your account from the settings page. Deletion removes your profile and learning data; anonymous aggregates may remain in statistics. For any privacy request, you can also contact us through the in-app feedback form.
Cookies
We use only the technical cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in, remember your language and interface preferences, and protect the service from abuse. We do not use advertising trackers.
